We use our own proprietary technology. SkyPan's patented, Remote Piloted Vehicles are actually camera-equipped, mini-helicopters. We can shoot images others can't. A blimp is not stable. A helicopter can't fly low due to new FAA regulations. A photographer on a crane can't get that high. |
|||||||
SkyPan’s advanced technology is ushering in a whole new world of aerial and panoramic photography. Some of our fully-loaded craft weigh just 22 lbs., with a wingspan of a mere 5 feet. That allows SkyPan’s RPV's to go where manned vehicles and ordinary helicopters can't — whether that means flying into low and tight spaces, or darting through the skyline in a major downtown metro area. |

We've spent years researching, developing and advancing proprietary technologies that allow us to shoot unique, 360-degree, "bird's-eye views" from a full range of helicopter platforms. Whether you're seeking traditional high-flying aerial photography, or something a bit more unconventional, we've got you covered. The technology's ours — how to use it is up to you. |

| Innovative technology journal, Wired magazine, invited less than 100 companies worldwide to exhibit at NextFest.2004. It was their very first—and now widely acclaimed—Fair of the Future. Over 25,000 curious attendees saw the inventions and products of a select group of innovative companies. So that visitors could "experience the future," Wired wanted to showcase the fusion of technology and creativity. GE, Motorola, GM, Northrop Grumman, NASA and HP accepted their invitation to attend. So did SkyPan. |
